Act-E is developed by the department of Medical Informatics and offered by the Teaching & Learning Centre (TLC) of the Amsterdam UMC (location AMC). It provides an online platform to gather structured curriculum information and supports the process of constructive alignment. It helps educational teams to have a well-informed discussion and deliver high-quality education.
The platform is in active use by the AUMC, University of Amsterdam (UvA) and other educational institutions. It is provided to other institutions based on a software use license, managed by the Innovation Exchange Amsterdam (IXA). Together with representatives of the different curricula, we evaluate the functionality of act-E and try to continuously enhance and improve its usefulness.
